I am having difficulty modifying the roof geometry in the attached dwf file so that the hip roof section over the garage does not extend as far as it does over the garage doors.
The roof over the garage, both the hip section, and the gable section (which is 3'-0" above the level of the hip) are supposed to be as one where the right side slope of the hip aligns with the right slope of the gable and terminating with the edge of the right gable fascia.
The attached dwf shows exactly what the issue is. The roof section that appears to protrude out over the garage should not be there, and I can't figure out how to remove it.
My original thought was wondering if there is a way to simply cut that section of the hip roof geometry off, but cannot find a way to do that.
Any suggestions?
