Modeling Eaves

Hello,

I am trying to accurately model the eaves of a home I am designing. Below is a section from the revit model as it currently appears:

The section is not accurate, however. There should not be any insulation (green) in the eaves and the red line should not be there either. The eave should simply have open air inside. The top two material layers, which represent the roof and roof decking should run continuously to the end. 

When this section is cleaned up, I plan to create a vented soffit and facia, which I think I know how to do.

I greatly appreciate your help in accomplishing this.

Model the eaves as a different roof type....as usually they are not the same size of rafters as the main roof anyway.  If you want separation of material look from the main rafters to the eaves, change the material type of the eaves.
