MODEL TEXT ON A WALL

I have a small wall that i need to place model text (3d text) on. How do i
go about getting a working plane on the face of a wall???

Go to the elevation view, click the plane tool and pick, then pick the face of the wall(an edge that highlights the face)

Are you talking about using a "reference plane"??? if so do i draw it and
then rotate it or something, sry i don't understand......

Goto the Elevation view(or 3D view), Select the Plane tool. Its located in
the upper left, second menu icon bar down. In the next window select "Pick
a plane". Then you should be able to pick the face of the wall and write
your model text on it.

OH That plane tool, lol.....thanks for the quick respnoce it worked
great........ I assume that once i place it and draw something on it, it
can not be deleted.

The object you draw on the plane can be deleted....the "plane" you pick is
really not an object...its just a representational plane in space, and
cannot be deleted...but really doesn't 'exist'.
