Mitered horizontal mullion outside corner tip

if you need to create a mitered horizontal mullion at outside corner cut.

Revit 2009 User's Guide, section 715 didn't help me. But hope this does.
Before you start, create custom mullion profile at 45 degree angle. Make sure create family that is correct orientation. Need one that is for left side and another family for right side outside corner.

step 1- place horizontal and vertical curtain mullions on curtain wall. Place two vertical mullion on outside corner on intersecting point (one at each perpendicular wall).
step 2- In plan view, make sure corner mullion gridlines are at exact same point.
step 3- in plan view, on option bar, "break at join" to both horizontal mullions.
step 4- toggle "vertical butt join" to both horizontal mullions.
step 5- you should get nice mitered join.

You need to create a custom corner mullion or create a custom corner curtain panel with a return glazing in both directions and custom mullions. See RevitCity for custom corner curtain wall conditions.

Good Job, Its great when people really know their technolgy.  Definiently, you have to create custome profiles one for each side of the curtain wall. The tricky part for me is getting the corner profile exaclty were you needed it. But its a good stratagy. 

Loading the profile is also a two step process. That requires you to create a new Type of mullion using the duplicate option and then changing the profile. with out that you can't find the new loaded profile.
