Miter Wall Join (as default)

It seems to me that it would make more sense to have the Miter Wall join as default.

If that is not applicable then default to Square Off.

Or at least have the option to set the Wall Join to Miter (smiilar to selecting your Snaps)

Or am I missing something ?

Wall Joins will always default to the Butt type, but you can configure the join after placement: Changing the Configuration of a Wall Join.

If you would like to request the ability to change the default behavior, I would suggest doing so at the Feedback Site.

I hope this helps!

Hi,

I would like to know about if there was a development in REvit about the default settings.

  • Can we change the default "Butt" setting?
  • Is there any shorter way to change the existing join instead of selecting all corners one by one on floor plan view?

I appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

That Feedback site is no use. I can't see if anyone else has already registeret this as an issue!
