When one links revit files into another revit file. Does the host revit model read the linked file's sheet, detail, and view information when loading and working with it loaded? Or does the host file only look at the linked files model data? Our central files are becoming fairly large and there are concerns regarding future performance within these files.
I think the answer to your quesiton is the Revit link file is the guilding model and no it is not loading the views created or setup in the link files Project Browser.
Any elevations, sections, detail or schedule views for the Linked model will be created in the Host file.
