line not showing up between joined existing wall and new wall course view.

We always had this problem of the line not showing up between joined existing wall and new wall in course view.

We do a lot of finishout of tenant spaces. This is real problem. Answer put a hatch pattern in the existing wall phasing override. I used dots, Then set the color to white.  Lines at the common edge of the joined walls show up. And at the demo portion of the wall when adding a door to existing wall. the beauty is that you only have to change setting in one place, one time in the template and forget.

Have you tried disallowing the wall joint of the new wall. You can the align the end of the the new wall with the face of the existing wall and the line will be there.

See Attachment o how we are joining

the new wall is used to fur the existing wall. On small scale we need course setting but joining the walls for doors to cut causes the wall to not to show line that seperates both walls. This is a good work around.
