Is there any way to adjust the beam spread of a light? I am currently using Revit Building 8.1, do the newer versions of Revit give more options with light fixtures.

Hello,

Revit 2010 allows you to change the way a light spreads its beams on a lighting fixture family, but it's a new feature.

A new reason to upgrade. I think you should try Subscription, it's worth the cost.
