License file issues

I downloaded the 8.1 demo version a while back and installed it on my
machine.
We decided to purchase some licenses and add them to our current distributed
network license servers.
Authorized the product and merged my revit license file with my adt .lic
file.
They show up ok in flexLM.

Now how do I get my local install to read the licenses.
I thought I could go to the product and license information in the help menu
and change it to network.
From what I've read I am supposed to be able to specify a server in the
network server box, but it is greyed out
and says distributed. However if I keep it on that setting It doesn't find
a license.
What am I missing?

It is greyed out till the Radio Button Next to the word "NETWORK" is not selected. But i really dont think u have not selected the Radio Button!!

At one of the user locations, i had noticed that even after selecting NETWORK and entering the Server Name, Revit was not able to pull the License! So as a workaround, i entered the S/N, which was weirdly not greyed-out(generally it would). And then Revit could load the license properly!

So check out what works for u.
