Levels disappearing

Every now and then my level lines completely disappear from section and elevation views, and I cant get them back - I check visibilty/ graphics and temporary hide etc which is all ok - it happened today when I deleted the stock standard elevation markers from my plan - this is when the level lines disappeared from my existing sections and wouldnt appear on any new elevations I created. The floor plans the levels relate to still exist?? Can anyone help please.. frustrated!

Try turning off the crop region (there is an icon at the bototm of the
window for this) and see if the levels are just way off in space somewhere
(zoom out to see). I had this happen to a client once, and this is how we
found them. If they are way off in space, you can drag them back to the view
area, and then turn the crop region on again.
