You could certainly do this project in either Revit Building or Revit
Structure. I would choose a simpler project as your pilot project. It is
tempting to try Revit on a snappy project, but it will require you to learn
certain more advanced features (and execute them correctly). Your curved
beams would have to be done as a in-place family using modeling. This is
not impossible, but not something the tutorial explains in detail for a
curved beam.
You are looking for productivity and the ability to see if Revit is right
for you. Try it on a project that is a bit simpler (for the first project).
You will get over your anxiety (new program features), get a better done
model (accuracy) and see how great Revit is for doing buildings. Then you
can keep your eyes on what you don't know and learn those features.
Training is key to successful transitions to new software platforms.

I have completed a fair few of the tutorials and am getting twitchy to try
out for real.
My problem is, the project I wish to use hase curved steel members on plan
and on elevation and I havn't come accross how to do these yet.
To save me persisting with the tutorials can someone point me in the right
direction or point me to the relevent tutorial.
Thanks
