Keeping walls aligned on different levels

Hello All;

I have a foundation plan on one level and a stud wall with sheathing on the level above.  How do I keep the foundation wall alignment to the stud wall (core face) "connected" to one another?  For example, the walls on the leve above moves 8" outward, how do have the foundation wall move with that adjustment?  Now, I'm using the align tool, but that seems like a lot of work when the perimeter of the stud wall is several hundred feet with many jigs & jogs.

I have attached a image file to maybe help in what I am trying to do.

Thanks in advance,

Jleibold

Oh, good. It shouldn't take you very long then.

use a grid and align and lock each wall to the grid. If you need to move the walls, move the grid and the walls "should" follow.
