I have included an image, Why does this happen? Is there an easy way to fix it? or is the only way to fix it to edit the profile? This is an extremely annoying issues that never used to happen with older versions of revit...

In my test , after streching downn and correct the error, streching  up again  , the error appears no more..

I remade your roof shape and the wall ...The same error hapen to my wall..But when I drag the bottom arrow of the selected wall and strech it down the attacment to the roof became OK.

So, try to strech down the bottom of the wall...
