Anytime the front roof has a step that is hidden by a higher roof I am having trouble joining them together

If I do get them joined I end up with unwanted lines

It has been quite a while since I worked on this one and I believe I may have messed pt up a little trying to make it work. I think only one ridge should show on the entry pop out mess and it should die into the hip smoothly. There is a hole concept that I am not catching here on how to split the main front roof with two different fascia positions and hide it behind the entry, a real common Florida style

Not sure at what stage this is either I have recentltly caught on to the lineworks to hide the unwanted lines, but my roofs are still not really"right".

Hi,
The reason your entry roof doesn't appear to join with the main roof is that
it does not hit the hip in the right spot... Try cutting a section - left to
right - through your entry roof & dropping or raising the roof as necessary.

Also, I'd suggest making the roof outlines a little complicated until you
have the roof worked out. ie, get the massing done and right, and then edit
the footprint to be "right"...

Regards,
