Join Geometry not 'working' on wall joints

I'm trying to Join First and Second Floor walls that are interrupted by floor framing.

I've separated sheathing and siding layers and extended these over to the lower wall.

All looks good, except for the joint line.

In section view,  I use Join Geometry tool and it works, the joint is gone.

However on Elevation and 3D viiews the line is still there.

Any idea how to fix that?

I had such a problem and a solved in two ways :

  1. Select the lower wall and then Attach Top/Base > select the upper wall ...the line will desappear
  2. select form Modify >View> Linework> Line Style>Invisible line...apply it twice (there are 2 lines there) - this method in fact only hides in view the intersection line

Method 1 is the best one ..

Any Idea how to use the join geometry on these walls ? I can join walls that are in straight line but were the straight walls meets the curved one it wont work ?

Windows wont cut , and it also looks bad in elevation views (I've tried LW (invisible lines) in elevation and it also doesn't work))
