Join 2 objects to make a corner

Hi all, is there any way you can join 2 objects together to make a corner, im trying to make a channel corner piece and cant seem to get the two objects to join. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?? find attached the family. Many thanks.

I sugest using Sweep instead of Extrude , it is much appropriate in this case..
