Is there a way to copy Detail Views from a Revit project?

I have a project that has some very nice details and I would like to copy some of the detail views out to a library. I can't seem to find a way to do this. I can get the Drafting views but not the Details.

Any ideas?

Thank you

If your detail views originated from model geometry (and therefore weren't
done as a drafting view), you cannot export/import them between projects,
because at least some parts of them are based on geometry that is unique to
your project.

If you're on subscription, download the subscription advantage pack from
your subscription website (and any other extensions that you see there for
Revit 2010). One of the utilities is a Freeze Drawing tool - it takes a
detail view and makes a drafting view out of it made up of 2D geometry,
without modifying the original detail view in any way. The resulting
drafting view can be saved out to a new RVT file, or imported from an
existing RVT project. Be aware, of course, that the resulting geometry is
just "dumb lines", but for creating a standard detail, it should work.
