Installing Revit LT

I've tried to install a trial Revit LT 2014 on several computers and now on full Revit 2014 and it still tells me that the installation is missing and its having trouble connecting with the autodesk folder. Has anyone else had this issue? I would really like to test the software for my tasks and see how it runs on my computers. Thanks.

What operating system are you working with?

If it is Windows 8 and 8.1 you have to install the .NET Framework first and then Revit will install.  See the link below for 8 and 8.1 installs.

Also, make sure you have the right version 32bit or 64bit.

Thank you for your reply. My laptop is Windows 8 but my PC is 7 both 64 bit. When I try to select the operating system nothing but windows comes up so I cannot select an option.
