Which is a better solution in terms of not losing any of the geometry of the model from Tekla to Revit?

Directly export Tekla file to Revit file using the "Export to Revit" application inside Tekla software?

Or directly export Tekla file to IFC file format?

I found the following FAQ for Tekla Revit interoperability:

Question 4 has information relevant to your question:
4. What is the file format used in this linking?
The users will have Export to Tekla and Export to Revit buttons available in respective software to create exchange files. The data transfer is based on the IFC format but will be extended beyond the IFCs. The IFC format is the common ground for this but not a limitation.

From the answer above, it sounds like the Tekla export option will output more information than IFC would.
