Import an excel file into revit

Hi all,
I 've got a file in excel and i need this file display in the sheet, Is there any way to import an excel file to revit? Thanks for your help, Have a good time!

There is no way to do it directly in Revit out-of-the-box. You can buy a third-party app to do this, there are free apps in the AUGI API forum that will read that excel file, and put it into a Revit Schedule (I use Key Schedules for this) so that you can place it in multiple Revit Sheets.

You can also import it in AutoCAD and then Import-link it to Revit the Excel spreadsheet or using a screen capture program capture the spreadsheet as a JPG and import the image into Revit.

The first method allows you to update the spreadsheet in Excel, then update it in AutoCAD and finally it will update in Revit.

i did as you say, but i have a problem with looking for extraction template file in acad "DATAEXTRACTION, Extracts data as specified in an existing attribute extraction template (BLK) file created with the Attribute Extraction wizard in AutoCAD 2006 or data extraction (DXE) file created in AutoCAD 2007." Can you show me where is it or how can i create it,. i opened AutoCad 2007 and looking for DXE but i can find it. Thanks for your help. Have a good day
