IFC file and Room bounding

We have some problems whit IFC files in Revit 2015. We would like to make the IFC room bounding, but is not able to do this.

We have marked the IFC file and have set the linked file to Room bounding in Edit Type. But it wont work.

Is there anybody els that have this problem? And a solusion to this?

The IFC export is working as expected and as designed, its just not designed to do what your want. The functionality allows users to share files but not the intelligences behind them. Simply put the IFC export dumbs down the file. The only suggestion I can make is to insert the IFC > Bind it > and use Room Separation Lines. Beyond that perhaps someone from the community will make another suggestion.

Thanks for posting.

If the walls are moved, i will have to move my room seperations lines alsow. This is not an solution that i can use. Because it is not alway to now witch wall that haved been moved.
