how to Split floor acording to loops in sketch

Hello everyone,

can anyone in this forum help to fix this issues?

I have 700x500x15mm floor say steel grating.I sketched the floor consists no of grating with proper offset and loop, but now I need the grating as individual to add specific value say Grating No.

How can I split the mass floor into individual floor based on loop boundary.

Attached Revit file for references.

I would probably just make a (generic) family of a single piece of grating and place those. How to further construct your floor would depend on how it would be constructed in real life.

Hi Enllnt,

I have the model already, the gratings are there in model so if i go for generic family i need to create 1000+ from scratch that's time consuming process. I am looking for any alternatives.

Those are constructed in real time by supporting angles beneath it.

I do not think it has to be that time consuming. If you create a grating family. Nest that in a line based family add some parameters and it can be done relatively easily I think. and you can schedule it as needed.
