How to replace a linked .rvt object for another .rvt object in a complex model?
How to replace a linked .rvt object for another .rvt object in a complex model?
Hello:
I am trying to replace a .rvt model linked to a larger .rvt structure with a different .rvt model. Since the linked model is repeated many times throughout the main larger model, I obviously rather replace with the new model instead of having to layout the array again. Is there a "replace link" command or something similar?
Under the Files.. menu, there is a Manage Links... command. When that dialog box comes up, you select the linked Revit file, then hit the "Reload From" button. This allows you to select the file you want to load the link from.
