How to model / draw Void Joints

Hello,

I'm trying to model a few small houses (that were drawn in Autocad) and I
don't find how to draw or model lines (Void / Hollow joints) on the walls,
that can ben viewed both on elevations and perspective view.
I can draw the horizontal void joints but how to do the circle the slopped
ones ?

(Sorry for my bad English speaking)

Quite simple if you just want to see lines. Use the plane tool to set the
face of the building as the active drawing plane. Then use model lines to
draw on the face of the building. If you are looking for something more 3D
that cuts into the building face -- you'll need to create a generic wall
hosted family.
