How to make a insulation looked like on pic in wall and roof?

Hi guys,

In the pic (orange) you can see what I am talking about. I know there is the way but honestly I really do not understand the method. 

Could you help me with there problem?

I hope I understood you well....if so, then:

• in Section View , make first , from Annotate > Region > Masking Region - a rectangle to cover the 3d layer that represent the insulation
• then : Annotate > Detail > Insulation
