How to create a truncated pyramid?

How do you draw a truncated pyramid from scratch; notwithstanding the Revit family pyramid?

there  many ways....

  1. in PROJECT :Architecture > Components >Family Category and Parameters>Generic Models > Name> Blend> (on Base ) draw an Inscribed or a Circumscribed Polygon with 3- N sides >then Edit Top > Pick Lines -choose depth and offset from Option Bar ...
  2.  in Mass Family - Create > draw an Inscribed or a Circumscribed Polygon with 3- N sides > Create Form - an extrusion - select the top surface > Edit Profil - enters in sketch mode where you can Scale the top shape...
  3. can also be used Mass Model in Place.....
