You can create a View Template with a custom scale setting in your Project template and that way when you start a new project the View Template will be available to set any view to that scale, or by selecting multiple views in the project browser you can set them all to the same View Template.

You might try opening your project template and pre setting views to this custom scale.

Where can I find the 'customize scale' command?

Message 6 of 22

Hi @werner_aenspeckcordeel_eu

When you are in a plan view, click on your View Scale Dropdown. After you clicked it, then you add a custom Scale Value 1:   250 (for example).

Hope this helps! Smiley Happy

How do i customize the scale in the line weight under the setting panel from the manage tab?

Reason being is i'm using 1:300 as it fits nicely onto my titleblock but whenever i export it to dwf, i will have line weight problems. It gets too thick.

No.

Custom doesn't allow that ratio. I thought you could "fake" it by making it 2:3 and naming it 1:1.5 but no.

What are you drawing that requires such odd and large scales?

Aren't those supposed to be not to scale? They are diagrams. What purpose is the scale serving?

Sounds like someones diagram is too big to fit on a sheet.
