How to change the dimensions of the chosen pattern,

How to change the dimensions of the chosen pattern,

In the screenshot below, I wanted the block pattern to be 0.26x0.5 instead of 0.225x0.450. Is that possible?

I tried to see if the dimensions can be edited but sounds no opting to do this sort of work.

What might be the solution?

Thank you for the help,

Best

Jamal

Fill Patterns in Revit are generated from a .pat file, similar to AutoCad.

The main difference is that in Revit there are both Model Patterns (which show in both 2D and 3D)

and Drafting Patterns (which show in 2D views only.)

Do a Help/wiki search on Fill Patterns and .pat files.

There is a nice free add-in from Mertens 3D called Hatch 22 that is very helpful when needing custom .pat files.

You draw them in a Drafting View in Revit, select the lines and use the Hatch 22 add-in the convert them to a .pat file which can then be saved and loaded into a custom Fill Pattern.

Many thanks ccollins for the answer.

I’ll try it and see if it works with me
