How can I make a monolithic cast-in-place staircase like this?

I tried both sketch method and Component method, but Error Message shows Revit Can't make stairs. Help me pls? I am using RVT 2014.

Hi there,

The "problem" you experiencing with your staircase relates to the top corner where the stair turns direction. You have 3 risers coming from the inside corner.
See attached image.

Option A:
If possible, rework your staircase to only have 2 risers coming from the inside corner by adding risers to the start or end of your staircase.

Option B:

Referring to my attached sketch, offset the riser lines “1” & “3” with 2 or 3mm out of the corner & finish sketch.

Corner risers like that never result in a great looking monolithic stairscases. (Underside of stair).

So unless you doing floating stairs (greater flexibility) you may find option A the better option in terms of what the end result looks like.

Hope this helps
