Hosted parking spaces

I notice in the Properties dialog  that some of the parking spaces are hosted in the "Subregion" (probably correctly) and when I open the 3D drawing, I notice that some of other parking spaces are floating above and are hosted by "Surface".    I tried to change these to be hosted by the "Subregion" in the Host line of the Properties dialog, but I cannot and  I note that the words "Host" and "Surface" are grayed in the Properties dialog, like to state that the changing is not possible.

I know that I probably can redraw these floating spaces again in the site plan individually and host them correctly, but let me ask, out of curiosity, is there a quick and convenient way to change the hosting of these floating parking spaces to "Subregion" without having to redraw these again?

By the way, I think the floating parking spaces were created since I used the "copy" command to copy these, is that correct?

Thanks in advance.

When you select the parking space, up on the ribbon in the Modify | Parking tab, there should be a Pick New Host button:

Thanks for the repply.

I am trying to orient the site now, with with the building was longitudinally from below to up in a vertical position (Project North apparently was from South to North).  I was able to orient the entire site 45 degrees to the left for True North.  But when I try to to reorient the Project North by rotating the site and building 90 degrees counterclockwise, it takes a long time and then at the end I get a lot of errors like it cannot be done, and I see the trees not moving the 90 degrees, and I have to cancel the rotatation.

The building has several floors, and I also have the ref planes locked.  The ref planes rotate, but I notice some of the trees and  parking do not rotate to the lProject North.

What might be the reason?

Thanks again.

To orient a project to True North, do not use the rotate command. That is why you are getting errors. There is a tool for that under Manage > Position > Rotate true North. Before using that, from a floor plan, change the Orientation parameter of the view from Project North to True North, then you can use Rotate true North from the ribbon. After doing the rotation, you can return the view to Project North if you want.
