Hidden lines in groups

Hello All;

I have created a group (kitchen) & there is a half wall under the counter.  I used the "show hidden line" process & that worked fine. But when I make the kitchen into a group, the hidden lines are not there.  SO I tried the same process again, in the group editor, but I am unable to.  I select the counter, then the wall I want hidden, but the linework will not allow me to change the lines to dashed.

It works when I insert/ copy the groups in the view, but I have change each instance, which there are a alot of them.  Can't this be done in the group editor once & then all the copies will update?

So...?

Thanks in advance...

Jeff

You can create the lines as annotation in a attached detail group (which can also include the tags, dims, texts, etc.). Wouldn't be intelligent as with showing hidden lines, but would show on all your groups.
