hand orientation

can someone please explain to me what a hand orientation is? Thanks!

The hand orientation is a flip control that toggles horizontal orientation. For example - for doors, the hand orientation controls whether the door swings to the right or left.

yes. that helps. thanks. im just confused with hand and face orientation. i guess face orientation is flipping w/ respect to the x-axis? Thanks!

Yes, the Hand control flips the instance horizontally (across the y-axis) and the Facing control flips the instance vertically (across the x-axis).
