Glass block window display problem.

Hi.

I have a little problem dispalying a custom Glass Block window family. It won't display when in plan view as it apparently doesn't get cut by the project cut plane. This is even when the center height of the window is exactly at cut plane height. All that shows is a blank area in the wall the size of the window when it should show the joints between glass blocks.
Any ideas, tips, hints are more than welcome.
Many thanks !

Leave the cut plane alone and use Plan Regions to show items that are at a
different cut plane.

Thanx. I should have mentioned that that's been tried. It's not a cut plane problem, or a plan regions problem. It just doesn't recognize this window as a cuttable object. How does one change that ?

Open the familiy and make sure the geometery or symbol lines are set to display in plan view. they may be turned off or may be turnned off at diff. detail levels(coarse, med fine.)

Or maybe I just realized that I hadn't defined the subcategory types in the object "Identity Data" so the machine can't tell a mullion from a hole in the ground. Fixed that, it works, I'm going to go crawl in teh hole now.

thanks for your time everyone.
