Floor Stipple

I created a floor slab using the Generic 4” family, renamed it to Concrete 4”, and assigned the material to be concrete. I added a thickened edge, assigned it to be concrete also, and joined them. However, the stipple does not display on the elevations for the thickness of the floor slab. It’s got to be something simple I am overlooking, right?

The Floors sides do not have any material assigned. The only way I can get that to work is to Paint the Concrete material to the sides.

I create a view template for exterior elevations, and I have Floors modified so that their Surface Pattern is set how I want. This makes the sides display correctly. Works when not using floors for anything else such as tile or carpet or whatever, at least at the building exterior.
