Flex Dia Ref Plane Vertically

Hi, I'm practicing on my Family creation skill but I couldn't figure out how to get the diagonal ref plane to move with the rest of the ref planes when I change Baluster height Constraint. Can someone please explain breifly how to do it? Is it possible? Please see attachment.

Thanks in advance.

Use a ref. line instead of a ref. plane. Ref. Lines can pivot and move in
several directions. Planes will remain parallel to the angle which they are
created.
