Fixing grid heads in place

Is it possible to fix the grid heads in place in one view without having them move in all views?

Yes. Use a Scope Box. Then highlight the Grids you want to stay in position, and then in Properties, select the Scope Box to associate those Grids to.

The other Grids have not Scope Box association.

Then, in your View that you want the Grid Bubbles in a certain position, apply the Scope Box.

( I would have to test this to be sure it does what you are asking.)

zrbrock,

When you select the grid, you'll notice a "3D" text near the head. Click on it and it becomes "2D".

Now you can move the grid head in any way and that would not affect grid head in other views.
