Filled regions in detail component masked by model elements in family

Using Revit Architecture 2014.

I've created a detail component that uses a filled region to highlight an area in elevation.

I have then inserted the detail component into a family, and when viewed in elevation within the family editor, the region appears exactly as a want to see it, in all relevant view styles (hidden and shaded for example.)

When I insert the family into my project, the model elements from the family mask out the filled region.

Is there any way to force the filled regions in nested detail components to display?

Symbolic lines in the detail component do display OK in the project.

Hello, Jonh!
I have exactly the same case.

Have you solved the problem at the time?

If anyone else has any thoughts, please let me know.

Thanks.
