Filled Region Hatch Origin

Hi all - does anyone know how to locate the 'starting point' for hatch patterns and filled regions?  I am laying the hatch in a bathroom and I want the pattern (which is representing tile) to start in a particular corner.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions..

Dave

Use the Align tool. Select a face of the wall, then and a line in the hatch pattern. Do it twice to align the corner of the walls with the corner of the hatch pattern.

I appreciate the help!

Thanks!

Hi,

It seems I have the same problem. I tried to use the align tool but I can't select any of the hach line, in order to align with a reference.
Please help.

Thank you

It only works with model hatches, not with drafting hatches.

Hello,

do you, by any chance, know how to hide the lines around the hatch?

thanks

Edit the filled region sketch boundary and change everything to <Invisible>.

Hi,

To set up tile setting out, ie, to show tile starting point on plan.\

1. Use revit archi floor/ model for area.

2. change tile pattern in material browser/ surface pattern in graphic tab.

3. Adjust view setting, so that you can see tile lines on plan.

4. import dwg from acad of draw a ref line (cross line) which is tile starting point.

5. Move floor tile align with tile line to ref line.

6. Adjust floor area (double click floor tile).

7. Done!

Hope this will help you.
