Facade metal grid detail

 Hello,

I'm working on a college level project where I find myself struggling to produce the detail that I am after. What I am after is a metal grid usually seen on a modern glass facade which displayes the columns and beams although the materiality of my facade is brick it hides all the structure. I was wondering if there is a way to achieve this on revit and still expose the grid in order to create a framing effect with the steel.

The attached image some what expresses what I am after, see how the upper facade continues the columns ontop of the surface material dividing up the face, what I am trying to achieve is to have the bricks nesting within the grids.

Appreciate your time,

Steffen

Maybe I do not understand you correctly. But If I do I would say curtain walls can give what you want.

You can create a curtain wall. For the panels you can have glass panel, solid panels and walls.

For the top part you can have empty panels. Something like this

Is this what you are looking after?

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
