What is the quickest way to extract the area for painting for every structural steel column and beam?
I try to create a formula for this but even in the column/beam families I have access to the a,b,thickness values I cannot find a way to use them into the schedule.
There is nothing built in. You'll need to add parameters and do some
calculation inside the family.
