export to dwg

We need to export a set of working drawings from Revit into AutoCad. Is
there a standard plot setting in AutoCad, i.e. "acad.ctb" or
"AIAStandard.ctb", that will print/plot the drawings as if it were still in
Revit? We want to avoid adjusting the export settings withn Revit if
possible.

I've been printing my Revit dwgs as pdfs....WYSIWYG. Don't know if that's an
option for you...there are free pdf writers on the web. I downloaded CutePDF
and it works well. Remember to go to your Sheet view to print (otherwise it
will try to print all open views)....and remember under Print Properties >
Advanced > to choose the option under TrueType Font: of "download as
softfont" and not "substitute with device font." Otherwise your text may run
wild.

When exporting your DWG, Revit creates a PC3 file. This file can be used to
setup your CTB. However, Revit also exports objects with the correct
lineweight setup for printing using STB. So printing with layer=lineweight
may be simpler.
