Export Revit to CAD - family to block names

I am trying to figure out the best way to rename families that become cad blocks when the revit plan is exported to cad.

I need to follow another companies standard.  Lets say the  family  is called "Single Door" and the type is "flush 36x84 -DF01". When exported I end up with

Single Door - Flush 36x84_DF01 - View Name.

How do i get it so it is just named DF01. Which is the companies standard for that cad block?

is there a way to do this in Revit or will I have to write a lisp/script to do it in autocad?

Thanks,

I have not found an option within Revit to change the block name used for families when exporting to DWG.

However, when searching online for lisp routines to change block names, I found several postings:

I have another issue with this.  When exporting a 3D view to AutoCAD for coordination with disciplines using AutoCAD 3D Models (CadWorx).  Any item that has been modified loses it's block name, and becomes a 3D solid.  This also overrides the colors used for creation of the REVIT model.

In my case it names the blocks this way (this is what I see in NavisWorks):

Item Name:  Family-Type-ID#-Viewname

Item Type:  3D solid

colors according to that in REVIT

For columns that have been attached, beams that have been coped, or had holes cut in them

Item Name:  .dwg file name

Item Type:  3D solid

colors according to layer export dialog

The problem I have with this, is the beam sizes and descriptions are lost to the next user (AutoCAD in particular, I know I could go directy from REVIT to Navisworks, but am forced to work with AutoCAD users for the time being)
