Export Error from Revit to Navis

 Hi,

 

Whenever i try to export from revit to navis i get the error msg, stating that the program is already running.

 

this is one of the msgs and i receive other error msgs also . iam unable to export it to navis.

 

kindly suggest the solution.

Can you tell us what the other errors you are receiving are as well?

HI Katie,

 

Thanks for your resonse,

 

while trying to export to navis, the first erroe msg that i got was, "Failed to open navis works exporter localisation file, please contact Autodesk technical support."

 

After a while, i again tried to export to navis and this time it says, "nwexportrevit_ALREADY_RUNNING" .

 

some time i got fatal error too...

Thanks for the additional information. We have a technical solution on our Knowledge Base that you might want to take a look at for this scenario:

Hi. 

 

I am having this problem and could do with finding a resolution but the link to the solution in the knowledgebase is broken . (there are alot of broken links with Autodesk help at the moment )

 

can you please help by providing the new link to the knowledge base

"exporter ran out of memory, try closing other programs or running on a a machine with more ram."

This is the error am facing while trying to export to navisworks.

i'm working on a machine which has 32GB RAM and i7 processor, as the error showing due to less ram, i've also checked the ram consumption which was less than 50% consuming.
