Error window over the Family Types window

Morning all,

So I'm getting really frustrated by the way in which the error window works when you're creating families (don't know whether it applies elsewhere). I keep the Family Types window large so that I can see as many of my parameters as possible, which is great, but if I get an "Error - cannot be ignored" box jump out at me, when I click show or expand, I still can't see what the problems are because the Family Types window is in the way! It really doesn't make sense for it to remain open when you're trying to look at your errors, and you can't move it once you've got the error window open.

It would be fantastic if you could resovle this, because it's a huge PITA.

With optimistic thanks,

Jonathon

Yeah, it can be sometimes frustrating with the screen estate. All the ribbons, menus and secondary programs fighting for space on the desktop.

A dual/multi screen setup is basically required to work in a convenient way. That way you can move some of the windows to the second screen.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
