Hi Users,
Anyone know the fix for this error?
Could not access project information (probably because it does not exist).
Exception:
System.NullReferenceException: Revit project information does not exist.

I installed Elum Tools yesterday to my 2015 Revit software, did one corridor calculation, shut down the machine, and then got this error today in my local copy file. I finally synced to the central model, but the error won't go away. Advise?
Thank you!
Sincerley,
michelle
In the past, we have seen Elum Tools corrupt the Project Information element in the Revit file. The fix is to open a previous version of the file with the Project Information intact, and use Transfer Project Standards to copy the Project Information from the old version to the new version.
Hi There,
I tried transfer of project standards and now have this error:
Could not store project settings entity on element.

From the errors, it looks like Elum Tools is having trouble writing to part of the Revit database. I would uninstall Elum Tools, use Transfer Project Standards to get the Project Informaiton back, and then reinstall Elum Tools.
If the behavior comes back, I would let Elum Tools know that the add-in looks to be corrupting the Revit Project Information. The following page has steps for doing this:

Sorry for all the feedback - hopefully this helps you all track down the bug 🙂

While I have logged this issue with Elum Tools, I would encourage you to do the same since you can send them the file in which this is happening along with any other data they may need to resolve this issue.
Hi There,
I uninstalled the tools. Rebooted. Opened the file detached from central, and saved a new, detached copy on my local 'c' drive. Reinstalled the tools. Still getting the same error - advise??
Sincerely, .:mie:.
