Probably right click > view properties > uncheck Section box.

It sounds like the elevation view line has moved and is now cutting your
building instead of being outside the building. Click once on the elevation
symbol head in the plan a blue line should appear move it away from the
building.

Be sure to have Visual Style in Hidden Line rather than Wireframe.

(To toggle Visual Styles click on the little cube on the bottom left of your screen)

I have the same issue.  Most of my north elevation is correct (shows the exterior elevation face of the building).  But one part of the building that projects forward, this part has been cut and is showing as a section.  There is no section bubble line so nothing in that vicinity to click on and move any dashed blue lines away.  Can't figure out what is causing this section to be there.

Did you try to solution above?

Click on the elevation marker in a plan view, and a blue line should appear where ever your model is being shown as cut in the elevation view. Move it out of the building and you'll be set.
