There is a bit more that needs to be worked out...
Like the dimensioning...can't dimension intersecting walls that are not
parallel...that's just plain silly...workarounds? sure just add a line
segment, but again that defeats the purpose also.
From an architectural point of view, you need to dimension angled walls from
intersection exterior or interior, then give a radius of wall...plus be able
to dimension walls vertically or horizontally, but with one option, that the
walls can be skewed or should I say angled...
Example: extension lines
__________<-
|
\
\ ________<-
/
/
|__________<-
I developed my own dimensioning tool for AutoCAD that did it and more, and
it wasn't that difficult...
So I know from my own experience that this should be possible.
Revit would be a killer, if it could do that! As I see it, all the elements
are there for the taking. So all it needs is a family for vert., horiz, and
perimeter dimensioning.
Composition for stacking wouldn't hurt either- 1. Overall, 2. Jogs, 3.
Interior walls, 4. Openings. With Stacking offset as a parameter...also
being able to break, join, and offset a dimension line would be of great
benefit.

If you are in revit 8.1, click once on the room tag and choose the edit
family button on top of the screen. This will allow you to edit the tag.
Then just reload it into the project when you're done. If you're not in 8.0
or higher, you'll have to find the tag file. Out of the box go to open
under the file tab, and look in the imperial library folder, then under
annotations. There you will find Room Tag.rfa, which is probably the tag
you're using. Good luck!
Also search this site for room tag info. This same topic has been discussed
a number of other times in different forms.
