Elevation marker in a drafting view

I am trying to place an elevation marker (level marker) in a drafting view. I can't figure out how to do this. I can't place it as a symbol and any other options are greyed out. Can someone help me?

If you need a level marker in a drafting view, then you will need to create
a new annotation family and bring it in as a symbol. You can't place Levels
in a drafting view. Drafting Views are meant for importing dwg files or
other 2d linework, not for modeling.

Use the Spot Elevation if your just wanting an elevation.

If you have a Level that should be showing up, go to the building elevation
and right click
on the level and hit "expand 3d extents" that should do it.

He's creating Drafting Views and model elements don't show up in a Drafting
View.
