Element (beam) doesnt appear on drawing but is really there

I created a triple beam to use in this simple screened porch project.  i have it installed in the model and it appears in the 3D views but not on the elevation and layouts.  It appears as 1 single line. see below

3D view beam is seen.

Wheres the beam?

if in Coarse Detail Level - it appears as a line

in Medium and Fine it will appear as you want...
