Electrical Tag Snapping

I created a new electrical back box family with an associated custom tag, but the tag's leader will only snap to either side of the backbox - not to the center.  How can I manipulate the snap settings?

You can select the tag and change the default setting from Attached End to Free End.  This should allow you to drag the leader to any point you would like:
